Our school was founded in 1988 as a co-educational grammar
school using English as the medium of instruction. We place
much emphasis on students' academic achievement, character development
as well as moral well-being.
Our school provides 40 S1 discretionary places for the school
year 2006/2007.
If your child has good academic achievement and conduct and
wish to apply for our S1 discretionary places, please kindly
complete the "S1
Admission (2006-2007) Application Form" and return
to the school office, together with photocopies of academic
result slips of Primary 4-6 (A4 size), internal and external
award certificates and other relevant documents (A4 size). A
stamped self-addressed envelope should also be enclosed. The
application period starts from 06 Feb 2005 to 20 Feb 2005.
Application forms are obtainable from the school office and
also downloadable from the school web site http://www.stmgss.edu.hk
with effect from 01 Dec 2005 (Thursday).
Applicants will be shortlisted according to their conduct (Grade
B or above) and academic achievement of the past 3 years. Only
eligible applicants will be invited for interview in early April
2006.

Results of application will be released on the day of release
of results of Central Allocation of S.1 Places by the Education
and Manpower Bureau.
If your child is not offered a place in our school but still
wish to be considered for admission, you may come to apply after
the release of allocation result by the Education and Manpower
Bureau. In case our S1 places are not filled, priority will
be given to those who have chosen our school as the first choice
and have good performance in both academic achievement and conduct.
